Coventry Pavilion, Morley's biggest and boldest tavern, is on the lookout for an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead our dynamic kitchen team through our next exciting chapter.

With major developments underway, we're seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and hands-on leader ready to inspire, coach, and elevate our kitchen operations – and bring the team along for the journey.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the kitchen. This is a leadership role that requires operational excellence, creative flair, and a passion for people and food. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Kitchen inventory and stock control

Ensuring kitchen compliance with health and safety standards

Wage and labour cost management

Coaching, mentoring, and developing all kitchen staff

Supporting apprentice growth and development

Recipe and process training and adherence

Equipment training and documentation

Meeting company wait time standards for food delivery

Engaging directly with guests in a friendly and professional manner
