The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Architect to lead secure solution design across critical national projects.
You’ll be embedded in a major federal cyber program, delivering robust, scalable security architecture that supports real-world transformation.
This role is hands-on and outcomes-driven. Ideal for a senior architect who thrives on solving complex security challenges and wants to work where their expertise is valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture across major cyber initiatives
• Define and document security requirements for enterprise systems
• Design and assess protections for infrastructure, middleware, and apps
• Conduct risk assessments and develop practical mitigation strategies
• Translate business needs into secure, scalable architectural solutions

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of continuous experience in IT security and consulting
• Strong background in cyber risk assessment and architectural design
• Proven technical writing skills, including executive-level briefs
• In-depth understanding of Australian Government security frameworks
• Knowledge of government certification and accreditation practices

Desirable

• Understanding of whole-of-government policy and how it applies to cyber

Security Clearance
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum NV1 clearance.
