We're seeking an AI Security Consultant to support one of Australia’s most data-driven government agencies in developing and embedding secure AI policies, frameworks, and tooling across their systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and review of the agency’s AI Security Policy

Drive the implementation of an AI Assessment Framework (AIAF)

Establish best practices for securing data in AI development, testing, and operations – aligned to ACSC guidance

Conduct security assessments of existing AI systems, including reports and actionable recommendations

Identify and evaluate AI tools that enhance cyber-security operations

Skills and Experience

Deep experience in AI governance, policy, and security

Demonstrated ability to apply national cyber security standards to real-world AI systems

Strategic thinking and an innovative mindset for tool and process improvement

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders

Security Clearance

You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum Baseline clearance.
