Join Our Team as an Early Childhood Room Leader / Educator – Little Gumnuts West Pymble

Little Gumnuts Early Learning are seeking an experienced and qualified Childcare Educator with strong Room Leader experience to join our passionate team on a full-time basis, starting immediately at our West Pymble Centre.

Your Role:

As an Early Childhood Educator and Room Leader, you will:

Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate educational programs

Guide and mentor a team of educators within your room to ensure consistent, responsive, and reflective practice

Foster warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a sense of belonging and community

Promote and support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through intentional, play-based learning

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that upholds the highest standards of child safety and wellbeing

Collaborate with the broader team and leadership to drive excellence in early childhood education and care

What we are looking for:

Unrestricted permanent work rights in Australia

Minimum of Diploma in Early Education and Care

Full-time availability

Experience working in an early childhood education setting as an Educator and a Room Leader.

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and CPR Certificates

Current NSW Working with Children Check

Certificate in CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or equivalent)

Food Handler Basics Certificate (preferred)

Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

Genuine interest in promoting children’s learning and well-being

Respect for and inclusion of diversity in its many forms

Ability to uphold confidentiality, including electronic and social media

Great written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
