About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join a city council on a major digital transformation program. This role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining integrations between the council’s core systems, including TechnologyOne and various internal & external platforms.

You’ll work closely with business analysts, architects and vendors to deliver robust, scalable integration solutions that improve data consistency, automate processes, and enable seamless service delivery.

What you’ll be doing

Design, develop and support integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Queues, Storage).

Implement and maintain RESTful & SOAP APIs, data exchanges and automation workflows.

Build integrations with TechnologyOne (Ci Anywhere, T1 Connect, Data Exchange) and ensure smooth operation of critical council processes.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document mappings, and ensure solutions align with business goals.

Support system upgrades and troubleshoot integration issues to maintain high availability and performance.

Ensure integrations meet data governance, security and compliance standards.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in a similar Integration Specialist / Developer / Engineer role, ideally within complex environments.

Strong background in Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Storage) and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

Skilled in API design (REST, SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI) and secure, scalable integrations.

Experience integrating TechnologyOne (Ci Anywhere, T1 Connect, APIs) highly regarded.

Familiarity with programming/data formats like JSON, XML, Java or .NET.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both IT teams and business users.
