About the role

Temporary part time to provide high level Occupational Therapy hand therapy services within Redcliffe Hospital.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver high level clinical Occupational Therapy services for hand therapy outpatients and inpatients at Redcliffe Hospital in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
  • Undertake assessment, treatment and management of hand therapy patients, in a varied and complex caseload using a variety of formal and informal materials, procedures and techniques at a high level seeking appropriate clinical support as required.
  • Build effective working partnerships and connections with hand therapy service providers within MNHHS with guidance from Advanced Occupational Therapist – Hands.
  • Provide timely, high level clinical advice to a range of health professionals, supervisors, managers and stakeholders, both internal and external to the HHS, regarding occupational therapy management and service delivery in various clinical areas, including prioritisation and changes in clinical practice, equipment and technological advances.
