About the work unit / facility
The Medical Education and Workforce Services (MEWS) team for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) is based locally at the Townsville University Hospital. We are a Centralised Service coordinating and supporting all Medical Employment and Education and provide a significant consulting role to a developed organisation of Service Groups, Shared Service Providers and both internal and external stakeholders. The MEWS team is an integral part of the Townsville HHS Administration and Executive team.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $105,568 to $114,861 p.a. (AO5)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Coordinate and manage credentialing and scope of clinical practice processes and provide high level administrative support and advice to the professional leads of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health to ensure all identified health professionals are credentialed and have a defined scope of clinical practice (SoCP) to support the delivery of safe and high quality health care within the Townsville HHS.
Provide expert advice and secretariat support to the Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice Committee (the Committee) on policy interpretation to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and national standards to minimise any risks to the Townsville HHS.

The Townsville Hospital and Health Service comprises 18 hospitals and community health campuses and two residential aged care facilities.
