About the Role

A pivotal role supporting executive decision making through insightful analysis and leading the day to day operations of the finance function. Overseeing businesses in this large conglomerate - this role is a balance of hands on financial expertise with strategic oversight.

• Leading the monthly reporting cycle including P&L, client/project profitability, utilisation, and variance analysis
• Preparing forecasts, annual budgets, and financial models to guide resource planning and profitability
• Managing working capital, reviewing revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
• Overseeing tax and compliance obligations including BAS, IAS, and FBT, ensuring internal controls and SOX compliance
• Supporting contract reviews, payroll approvals, insurance management, and ad hoc reporting for leadership
• Managing and mentoring a small finance team, fostering cross-functional collaboration and professional development

Please note this is a 12-month, fixed term contract.

About You

A commercially astute finance leader with a strong technical foundation, you will thrive in fast paced environments and love making continuous improvements to systems and to teams.

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a services-based or agency environment
• Exceptional financial reporting, forecasting and analysis skills
• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
• Confidence managing diverse stakeholders across multiple entities
• A proactive, detail-oriented leader who can balance operational oversight with strategic thinking
