An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. We are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate with a minimum of five years’ experience in accounts payable.
This role has a strong focus on accounts payable management, cashflow forecasting, project management, and reporting. You will report directly to the Accounts Manager and work within a dynamic team environment using Microsoft Dynamics 365, managing transactions across multiple companies and currencies.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
Day-to-day management of accounts payable, including some data entry, monthly reconciliations, and vendor reporting
Identifying and implementing system and processing improvements
Providing education and training to existing accounts staff
Supporting the finance management team with reporting and projects
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounts payable
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or the ability to learn quickly)
Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
Strong and effective communication skills
A willingness to share knowledge with team members
A strong work ethic and proactive approach
The ability to process entries in various currencies or a willingness to learn foreign currency transactions and concepts
