About your opportunity:

As a Project Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the critical work of implementing the Queensland Government's Women's Safety and Justice Taskforce recommendations as they relate to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). You will contribute your legal expertise to the development of innovative project-based deliverables, both legal and non-legal, ensuring they align with the intended purpose of these recommendations. We're looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated professional to fill this integral role. Here's what success looks like:

• Expertise in Criminal Law: Leverage your extensive experience and deep knowledge of criminal law, with a strong preference for expertise in prosecuting
criminal matters.
• Project Management Excellence: Apply your project management skills—or adapt your existing expertise—to deliver complex projects on time, with precision and exceptional organisational ability.
• Building Meaningful Connections: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including victim-survivors, while demonstrating trauma-informed practice and cultural capability.
• Driving Results with Governance: Ensure robust project governance and oversee the successful delivery of project activities and outcomes that make a real impact.

Mandatory Requirements:

Admission as a Legal Practitioner in a State or Territory of Australia (please provide your admission date).
