About the role

Mani Restaurant is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in the new Sydney Fish Market, Glebe, NSW. Mani Restaurant specializes in Asian Fusion Cuisine especially with the soul of Chinese cuisine. As our Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests. This full-time role is pivotal in driving the success of our restaurant within the local community.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service

Oversee the efficient and cost-effective running of the restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and budget control

Foster a positive and customer-centric work culture, providing training and development opportunities for the team

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase guest satisfaction, and maintain operational excellence

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Act as the public face of the restaurant, building strong relationships with customers and the local community

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as a restaurant or hospitality manager, with a proven track record of success

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management, inventory control, and cost-effective operations

Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively

Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations, as well as relevant health and safety regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and the local community
