Infection Prevention Coordinator (Clinical Nurse Level 2)
Hourly rate: Clinical Nurse Level 2 - $56 - $60 depending on qualifications and experience

As the Infection Prevention Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate and manage the hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Program in line with national standards and the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare
Develop and review policies aligned with best-practice IPC evidence
Promote the integration of evidence-based IPC practices across our hospital
Manage the Body Fluid Exposure program and staff health immunisation register
Facilitate the Infection Prevention and Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship committees
Lead quality improvement activities in line with NSQHS standards
Identify and respond to emerging IPC trends in consultation with stakeholders
Provide evidence-based IPC advice relating to procurement and supply decisions
Submit regulatory compliance data and reports as required

AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse Level 2)
Previous experience in Infection Prevention and Control (desirable)
Demonstrated operative knowledge of the NSQHS Standard 3 and Australian IPC guidelines
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement, safety, and collaborative practice
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
