🔧 About the Role

We are currently seeking Trade Assistants to join a busy manufacturing and assembly site in Dry Creek. You will be assisting with cladding frames, stair boxes, and general component assembly, working both indoors and outdoors in a warehouse and yard environment. This role is hands-on and suited for someone confident using a variety of power tools.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

Frame & stair box assembly and fastening

Use of power tools (drills, grinders, drop saws, etc.)

Perform bolting, fastening, and basic metal work

Participate in stocktake - must be able to count accurately

Operate a forklift (LF) for material handling as required

Support the team with general labouring duties both indoors and outdoors

✅ What You'll Need

LF Forklift Licence - Essential

Own vehicle & driver's licence - Required (site not accessible by public transport)

Proven power tool operation experience (battery drills, grinders, screw guns, saws)

Experience in assembly, bolting, and fast-paced trade environments

Ability to lift, move materials, and work on your feet all day

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety procedures
