We are currently hiring support workers for participants with a range of support needs, including:
Intellectual disabilities
Autism spectrum disorder
Epilepsy and seizure-related conditions
Psychosocial and mental health disabilities
Clients with high personal care needs
Non-verbal or limited verbal communication
Children and young people under the NDIS
About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide individualised care and daily living assistance aligned with each participant’s NDIS support plan. You will work closely with participants and their families to promote independence, dignity, and connection in both home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Support with daily activities such as personal care, hygiene, meals, and mobility
Facilitate community participation, outings, and social engagement
Monitor participant well-being and report changes or concerns
Build and maintain respectful, trusting relationships
Work in line with Child Safe Standards , NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards and WHS protocols
Encourage independence and informed choice in every interaction
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications / Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening Check & WWCC
First Aid Certificate
Driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
Smartphone with app usage capability
Completion of NDIS Induction & Orientation Modules
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health, or equivalent (preferred but not essential with relevant experience)
Experience:
6+ months supporting individuals with disability (preferred)
Experience working with clients who have autism, epilepsy, or mental health needs
Comfort supporting both children and adults, including those with complex behaviours
Skills:
Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong time management, adaptability, and conflict resolution
Cultural awareness and inclusive practice
Confidence using digital tools for documentation and communication
Location:
South West Sydney – Home and community-based support
Hourly Rate:
$33 – $45, based on experience and qualifications
