About the role

True Belongings PTY LTD' is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Baulkham Hills, NSW, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with various disabilities by providing compassionate, person-centred care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote client wellbeing and community engagement

Advocating for clients' needs and ensuring their safety and comfort

Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records

Collaborating with the broader care team to deliver holistic support

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Disability Services or relevant experience in the aged care or disability support sector

Strong and clear communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of those with disabilities

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation with full comprehensive car insurance

A current First Aid certificate and CPR
