Thrive Services is seeking two dedicated professionals to join our compassionate team in Lithgow, working three days a week (Monday–Wednesday) in roles that directly support local families.
TEI Family Case Worker (21 hrs/week)
Make a lasting impact by providing tailored case management, parenting programs, and group work to families with children under 18. You'll help strengthen family relationships and empower parents to navigate challenges with confidence.
What you bring:
Minimum requirement of a tertiary qualification in community services, or other relevant areas and at least 3 years relevant case management experience.
Knowledge and experience in planning and facilitation of evidence-based programs/group work and activities within the community.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational & problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Engage in strength-based, reflective practice with dedication and enthusiasm, demonstrating a passion for supporting families and the local community.
Community Liaison & Administration Worker (18 hrs/week)
Be the friendly face of our Lithgow office, supporting intake, referrals, and community programs. This role blends administrative coordination with meaningful community engagement.
What you bring:
Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in administration, coordination, or support roles.
Relevant tertiary qualification or diploma qualifications in community services or a similar field, or currently undertaking study in this field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and respectful engagement.
Excellent skills in computer programs such as MS Office, and ability to learn new databases or programs.
High level of organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Understanding of intake processes and the ability to connect individuals with appropriate services.
Both positions require the following:
Must have a current working with children check number.
Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
Must have National Criminal Check or will apply for one prior to commencement.
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
