About the Organisation:

They are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their thriving team, ideally someone who would like to be trained into a Tax Manager role! This is THE role if you're motivated by career growth and advancement but want to work close to home to offer you a phenomenal work-life balance!

Key responsibilities:

• Working closely with the current Tax Manager to prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entities (up to around $20million)
• Offering strategic tax advice to key clients and building long-term relationships
• Engaging in complex tax calculations such as FBT, CGT and Div7a
• Answering client queries via phone or email
• Reviewing work from junior team members

Experience and Skillset:

• 3+ years' experience working in an Australian public practice accounting firm
• Experience liaising with clients regarding queries, questions or strategic tax advice (across a variety of industries and turnovers)
• Tax registration or CPA/CA is a bonus!
• Someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively
• Strong communication skills and desire to build long-lasting relationships
