About the role
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will work in a collaborative manner with the RAV Family Violence (FV) team and external partners to deliver high quality services including Men’s Behaviour Change Programs and Men’s Case Management, including Family Safety work where relevant. This will include assessing clients’ suitability for FV Programs, conducting comprehensive risk assessments and risk management of participants and includes safety planning and assessment for the current or former partners of clients who participate in MBCP Programs.You will meet client needs in an evidence-based, outcomes-focused manner by delivering case management and family safety support, including referrals to relevant services where required.
Thus opportunity is located at our Sunshine Centre and is a permanent part-time position, working four (4) days a week, with one evening shift per week. The base salary range is $98k-$105k (pro-rata) per annum.
About you
- Degree in Psychology, social work or a related social science discipline and have completed a Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management – or have the willingness to obtain.
- A demonstrated understanding of the men’s behaviour change process and the gendered nature of family violence.
- Commitment to enhancing the safety of women and children who have experienced male family violence.
