Cloud Engineer - AWS / GCP

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll work closely with engineering, research, and trading teams to ensure performance, security, and scalability at every layer.

The role

You'll be responsible for evolving and maintaining cloud infrastructure that powers complex data pipelines and high-performance trading environments.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building reusable infrastructure components across cloud platforms (AWS & GCP)
• Delivering build and release pipelines for software and infrastructure
• Using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent) and config management to deploy and manage environments
• Troubleshooting Linux, storage, and network issues across hybrid systems
• Collaborating with developers, researchers, and stakeholders to evolve infrastructure strategy
• Managing risks and capacity planning for a growing AWS estate
• Continuously identifying opportunities for performance, automation, and reliability improvements

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and architecture
• Hands-on experience with:
• Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Linux systems, networking, storage
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
