They are looking for service techs that can do an awesome job but then can stand up and work hard and show leadership to the younger techs in Adelaide SA.

Job Opportunity

These roles will be working on new equipment and working with the Service Manager you will be building equipment whilst also covering warrantee checks on new machines within the field. Your day can be a mixture of simple checks down to complex technical troubleshooting on excavators, wheel loaders and single drum rollers. You will provide a detailed delivery action that we see you go over checklists and making sure the equipment is operating at its optimal power. With many new machines being delivered you will cover all of South Australia in the delivery of multimillion-dollar equipment.

Daily tasks & duties -

· Repair & Maintenance of earthmoving equipment all track mounted equipment.

· Diagnostics & Trouble Shooting

· Problem solving

· Work and report to the Service Manager

· Overall, inspect and repair of machinery

· Coordinate with factory and workshop on technical issues

· Communicate effectively with parts department

· Hydraulic repair with pumps, valves or hose issues.

· Electric motor AC & DC and battery systems

· Engine change / new rebuilds

· Fabrication and welding

Qualification and Key requirements

· Cert 3 Heavy Plant Ticket

· Minimum 3 years’ experience working on the above products

· Sound knowledge of hydraulics

· Diagnostic skills

· Forklift licence

· Mechanical and or electrical skills

Salary Package -

This new and challenging role is offering an hourly rate of $50:00phr to $55phr which includes work Ute, phone, and tools of trade, training, and company perks. If you’re looking to either step up into service supervisor or workshop manager, we can offer this as well after management training.
