Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Flux Core Welder for a leading steel fabrication company based in Naval Base, specialising in heavy fabrication and welding solutions. This is an opportunity for ongoing work with an immediate start!

Role: Flux Core Welding
Location: Naval Base
Rate: $45/hr + super + penalties
Hours: Monday to Friday, starts between 5am – 7am & finish by 3:30pm
Opportunity: Temp to Perm

Responsibilities:
* Perform flux core welding tasks with precision and skill.
* Pre heat treatment
* Undertaking 12mm fillets on liners & wear plates
* Conduct heavy fabrication and welding work according to technical specifications and industry standards.
* Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
* Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project deadlines.

Requirements:
* Trade Certificate
* Proven experience in flux core welding.
* Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
* Forklift licence (desirable).
* Must be able to pass a medical & drug and alcohol
* Current WA Drivers Licence + reliable transport.
