A fantastic opportunity has become available for a full-time Welder to support our team in Wangara.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Welding in accordance to ASME IX/AS 3992 using GTAW, MAG, SMAW & FCAW processes in 1-6G positions using Non-ferrous and alloy consumables
Follow all CWS safety quality procedures
Complete welds in accordance to supplied weld procedures
General pipefitting and fabrication
Available to work overtime, weekends and nightshift as required to meet clientrequirements
Be available to attend client site shutdowns and emergency breakdown repairs in Australiaand overseas as required
Assist in the mentoring of apprentices and other personnel as required
The successful candidate must have:
A capability to learn as extensive training will be offered to the right candidate
A recognised Australian or accredited welding trade certificate
The right to work within Australia (we are not offering sponsorship for this role)
A can-do attitude with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
The following is preferred but not required:
Current confined space
Current Working at heights
A manual driving Licence
Previous welding experience with Exotic alloys, Austenitic and ferritic stainless steels and super dupex materials with correct purging techniques
Previous onsite experience
