This will be a 14-month fixed-term project opportunity with an opportunity to extend and also look at other states.
Your new role
- Coordinate project activities across design, procurement, construction, and handover stages.
- Support progress reporting, budget control, and documentation using platforms like Aconex and SharePoint.
- Assist in contract administration and services trade procurement.
- Lead and document project meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups and issue resolution.
- Validate progress claims and prepare payment certificates in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality policies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong knowledge of stakeholder communication and construction platforms such as ACONEX, PROCORE, and BIM.
- Proficiency in interpreting architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Solid understanding of building methods, materials, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in cost control, purchasing, and administration.
- Familiarity with quality, health, and safety control systems.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction or Project Management (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
