OREAS is the world's leading manufacturer of Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) – essential quality control products used in the global mining and exploration industries. With products distributed in over 130 countries, we serve some of the largest international mining houses and laboratory groups.

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team on a casual basis at our Bayswater North site.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll be responsible for both preventative and breakdown maintenance of our manufacturing machinery and equipment. Your work will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our operations. You’ll also have access to our fully equipped workshop to carry out repairs and fabricate parts as required.

What We’re Looking For

Trade qualified as a Maintenance Fitter or Fitter and Turner

Experienced in maintaining manufacturing machinery and mechanical systems

Skilled in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Safety-conscious and detail-oriented

Available for flexible casual hours (Monday–Friday)

Bonus Points For:

Welding and fabrication skills

Experience in a production environment

Familiarity with pneumatic systems and packaging machinery
