About the Role:

You'll be part of a specialist team keeping the New Intercity Fleet (NIF Project) running safely and efficiently, working on high-tech, high-impact rolling stock.

Your day will include:

Fault-finding, troubleshooting and TMS diagnostics

Corrective and preventative maintenance

Implementing engineering updates and fleet inspections

Ensuring the fleet meets Minimum Operating Standards (MOS)

Shifts rotate every 6 weeks across mornings, afternoons, and nights:

4 teams active during day shifts

2 teams during night shifts

Must be open to shift work and ideally live near or be open to relocating to Kangy Angy (Central Coast).

Must have permanent Australian work rights and be willing to undergo pre-employment checks

What You Bring:

Certificate III (or higher) in mechanical or electrical trade

2+ years' post-trade experience (ideally in rolling stock)

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

A team-first attitude and the ability to work independently

Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
