Your Opportunity
At Mission Australia's Triple Care Farm in Robertson, NSW, you'll find more than just a job-you'll find a purpose. Nestled on 110 acres in the serene NSW Southern Highlands, this residential rehabilitation program provides a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 16-24 working to overcome alcohol and other drug use.
We're looking for a Weekend Program Coordinator who's passionate about making a difference. In this key role, you'll provide supervision and guidance to staff while supporting young people through the ups and downs of their recovery journey. Working across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you'll play a vital role in creating stability, safety, and connection during a time that can often be challenging.
You will act as an appropriate role model to staff and students. Over the weekend, you will oversee the development and delivery of a range of quality sporting and recreational activities for young people. You will aim to increasing physical fitness, providing exposure to the benefits of healthy outdoor pursuits, teamwork and planning.
If you're ready to lead with heart and help shape brighter futures-this is your opportunity to be part of something truly life-changing.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide leadership and weekend oversight of program delivery, ensuring a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment for young people aged 16-24.
- Supervise and support staff in delivering daily activities, life skills programs, and community events that promote recovery and personal growth.
- Coordinate daily operations including staff rostering, vehicle allocation, and adherence to program procedures and guidelines.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with clients to encourage positive behavioural change and progression through the Triple Care Farm program.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting, including client records, incident reports, and program outcomes.
- Promote and uphold child safety principles and respond to any concerns related to the wellbeing of children and young people engaging with the service.
Requirements for Success:
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support a professional team, including volunteers, in a dynamic residential setting.
- Demonstrated experience working with adolescents with complex needs, particularly in the areas of mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) use.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with young people.
- High level of organisational and administrative skills, including rostering, activity coordination, and record-keeping.
- Computer literacy and confidence using case management systems and digital tools.
- Qualification in Allied Health, Social Work, Youth Work, Health Promotion, Training and Assessment or in a related field desirable.
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Current NSW Driver's License
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
Your benefits:
- Rewarding work - every day you know you're making a real difference
- Not-for-profit salary packaging, reducing your tax (details via AccessPay)
- Free external, confidential counselling and access to chaplaincy support
- Volunteering opportunities
- Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave
- Extra leave including Mission Australia Thank You Day & Work Anniversary Day off
