You'll be supported by a collaborative and values-driven workplace, where innovation, evidence-based thinking, and stakeholder engagement are at the forefront of our approach. You'll also gain access to professional development opportunities and structured support, including resources to manage exposure to sensitive or distressing content. OIR is committed to your wellbeing, with

Your work will directly support OIR's strategic objectives and drive change where it matters most.

Key responsibilities:

• Support strategic direction in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of evidence-informed innovative, industry interventions and engagement programs.
• Provide high-level project management and leadership to ensure programs are responsive, effective, efficient delivered on time, within budget and to stated quality standards.
• Contribute to the implementation of WHS strategy frameworks in collaboration with OIR's technical, policy and inspectorate work units to achieve OIR's strategic objectives.
• Support development of capability frameworks for the effective delivery of strategy and workplace advisory programs, within the SHSS Directorate.
• Contributes to the development of legislation and standards for enhancing the systematic management of health and safety within priority industries and hazard areas.
• Support the delivery of customer-driven, innovative, and effective health and safety advisory services which assist priority businesses to manage health and safety and injury management outcomes effectively and practically.
• Leverage program outcomes to promote the return-on-investment benefits of workplace health and safety, injury management and safety culture and leadership.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders by managing relationships with OIR partners, industry and employee representatives, academics, other WHS jurisdictions and other stakeholder to create collaborations and partnership opportunities.
• Prepare complex project management and technical reports, correspondence, and high-level briefs as directed.
• Oversee monitoring and evaluation frameworks to report on strategy, programs and initiatives within the scope of the role.
