We have a retail store and warehouse in West Gosford and operate a delivery van on the road. Our clientele are mainly farriers, vets, racing trainers and horse professionals. we assist with trade stands , promotions and farriers events around Australia

About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse & delivery driver two days a week , based primarily at our Gosford retail store and warehouse. This role will also involve delivering horseshoes and other farriery products to the racetracks, zoo’s and local farriers in the area, covering Sydney, Newcastle, Hawksbury South Coast and rural NSW a few times a week.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

Welcoming customers, answering their questions and helping them find products that meet their needs

Point of sale duties such as processing cash, card and online sales

Stock related duties such as labeling, pricing and stock rotation

Maintaining a neat clean and safe working environment in the , warehouse and van.

Picking, packing, wrapping wholesale warehouse orders

Coordinating incoming deliveries and completing dispatch of orders following procedures

Liaising with customers on the weekly scheduled route, packing their orders and delivering goods to a variety of locations

Providing professional customer service at all times

About You

Along with a strong work ethic, this role would suit someone that has a passion for working in the horse industry and likes a variety of work and learning new skills.

You'll also have/be:

Driving license - essential

Computer skills – essential

Full Australian working rights or permanent residency

Knowledge of horses not essential but helpful

Forklift license – desirable

Prepared to undergo a background security check (entry to racecourses, contact with horses and stock)

Be well presented, have good communication skills, physically fit, punctual, professional and reliable.
