Parap Post Office is a small Licensed Post Office (LPO) which has a well established customer base and small team. We need someone to join us and lead this team, continuing and developing the boutique/quality service we have offered our clients over the many years.

Demonstrated skills and experience in the areas of retail sales, managing a small team and being responsible for the back of house operations is essential.

Previous experience with the Australia Post retail network will be favourable.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Customer service and sales transactions
• Handling and processing payments (cheques, credit cards, cash and EFTPOS)
• Back of house reporting and handling cash
• Comply with Australia Post's standards, technology systems, requirements and processes
• Establish and adhere to budgets
• Stock control and maintenance
• End of month reporting to Australia Post and the proprietor
• Maintain, promote and build quality customer service standards
• Build customer relationships and understand customer needs
• Delegate responsibilities to team members
• Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations

Experience

• Business Management Experience (desirable)
• Post Office Experience (desirable)
• Retail Customer Service Experience (essential)

• Must be able to lift up to 16kg
