About the role

Survey Group is seeking experienced Mine Surveyors to join our team in Western Australia. As a Mine Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of our mining operations. This is a full-time FIFO position on an 8/6 roster, that offers a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits.

What you'll be doing

Conducting surveys and mapping of mining sites, pits, and other infrastructure

Preparing detailed survey reports and technical drawings

Ensuring compliance with all relevant mining and surveying regulations

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support mining projects

Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment

Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the surveying team

What we're looking for

A tertiary qualification in Mine Surveying, or a related field

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mine Surveyor in the mining industry

Strong working knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Proficiency in the use of Surpac or Deswik software

A valid manual Australian driver's licence and the ability to work in a remote location
