Element Geospatial have a variety of Civil, Engineering and Mine Surveying roles available for immediate start.

Telfer - Civil Surveyors

Element Geospatial are seeking 2 surveyors with a strong civil engineering survey background for a Tailings Storage Facility project in WA. You’ll be working alongside our current project Surveyors on an 8:6 Nightshift roster FIFO from Perth which will attract a premium pay rate, with the possibility to transition to a dayshift role at the end of August.

Olympic Dam - Mining & Engineering Surveyors

Seeking a surveyor to complete early works on an expansion of the Underground Rail Haulage system which we would expect to progress into longer term work

Various Site - Mine Surveyors

We have a variety of work coming in the door at established and new sites, both open cut and underground.

For the right person, we have opportunities to put your Grade 1 Authorisation to the test with start-up projects or if you want regular swings and a bit of variety, we have options either FIFO or with the Kalgoorlie team.

Each project will see you using existing skills and developing new ones whilst working with the latest technologies and the client to add value wherever possible.

Ideally, you will possess the following skills:

For the Telfer role, experience working with a variety of machine control and aerial systems, with experience on design preparation in Trimble Business Centre.

For the Olympic Dam role, strong underground mining and engineering survey skills.

For the Mine Surveying role, experience with a wide range of mine surveying technology and a desire to get authorised is a bonus.

You will also need;

A recognised Surveying qualification with experience in engineering and/or mining projects working to tight tolerances

A strong adherence to safety systems and a ethos of continual improvement

A strong desire to utilise technology to its full extent and the ability to document your workflow

Be able to work well autonomously and look to add value to the client wherever possible.
