We are seeking a suitably experienced Farm and Maintenance Hand on a 840 hectare cropping and livestock property in Northern Tasmania.

The majority of your role will be maintenance . In addition, you will assist with daily farm operations (e.g., irrigation, tractor operations). Required duties include:

• Carry out all mechanical repairs
• Repair and/or removal of faulty equipment & fittings
• Install new or replacement equipment & fittings
• Operating hand and power tools of all types
• Responsible for all preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Irrigation repairs and maintenance
• Safe operations of agricultural farm machinery
• Tractor operations (tractor experience required; spraying/spreading/planting experience preferred)
• Support of daily farm tasks
• MC and Forklift license preferred

Note: some weekend and afterhours work will be required.
