Casual Employment Opportunities – Fremantle Festivals
The City of Fremantle is recruiting casual staff to support the delivery of its festival program and the event season at the Fremantle Art Centre. The following positions are available:
Role Details
Events Staff:
Support the delivery of festivals and FAC events in diverse customer service including - front of house, bar service, ticket sales, door/gate & audience management. Support event set up and clean up requirements and participate in all safety and health procedures.
Salary - $34.68 per hour
Production Crew:
Work in collaboration to deliver all production requirements including – technical delivery, installation, site & stage management, artist liaisons, audience management, manual handling and physical labour. Support festivals team and stakeholders to deliver a successful and safe environment across all events and festival sites.
Salary - $34.68 per hour
Production Manager:
Manage the delivery of production requirements across the City’s art programs including – staff management, audience management, contractor management, technical production and operational delivery. Manual handling and physical labour – Completing and supervising required manual handling tasks in accordance with OSH Regulation 1996 and the City of Fremantle policy.
Salary - $37.32 per hour

Eligibility

You should be able to provide at least one current employer reference.
Event Staff requires a current National Police Clearance (issued within the past 6 months) and a valid RSA.
Production Crew requires a current National Police Clearance (issued within the past 6 months) and a valid C Class Driver’s License. A Forklift Ticket (LF) and A High-Risk Work (HRW) license are desired but not essential.
Production Manager requires a current National Police Clearance (issued within the past 6 months) and a valid C Class Driver’s License. A Forklift Ticket (LF) and A High-Risk Work (HRW) license are desired but not essential.
