A leading logistics automation equipment company is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join on a full-time, permanent basis. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality automation projects, spanning electrical design, PLC programming, and system integration.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role working on real-world logistics automation installations. You’ll be responsible for electrical design (using EPLAN), PLC development, and system commissioning, ensuring seamless integration of automated systems including conveyors, AMRs, and WMS/WCS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• MUST HAVE WMS and WCS experience - Integrate automation systems with warehouse control or database systems (WMS/WCS)
• Design and document electrical systems using EPLAN, including schematics and control panel layouts
• Program, test, and commission PLC systems - Omron and Siemens experience highly preferred
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues, both onsite and remotely
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to deliver project outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical standards, codes, and safety requirements

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE Experience in integrating automation systems with backend databases or WMS/WCS required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Registered Professional Engineer
• Proven experience in PLC programming (strong preference for both Omron and Siemens)
• Solid experience in electrical design using EPLAN (or other)
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet)
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
