This vacancy may be available in either Alice Springs, Katherine or Darwin subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.

The NT Government Office of Digital Government develops, leads and articulates strategic policy direction relevant to digital services within government. The new role has been established to assist client agencies through the process of assessing, planning and implementing AI solutions.

About the role
The role includes undertaking research and supporting development of advice regarding the development and use of AI and related digital and data disciplines. The role monitors developments in the digital industry regarding AI services and technology to support NTG and client agency development and policy.

The role will include engaging and liaising with client agencies to provide advice and other support regarding AI-related activities or projects. The role will also play a key role in raising awareness and implementing the NT Government AI Assurance Framework, available at the NT Government Digital Territory website.

About you
You will ideally have:

Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates the NT public sector values of commitment to service, innovation, ethical practice, accountability, impartiality, diversity and respect.

Experience in leading research, analysis and provision of advice.

Experience in developing strategies and solving service delivery problems and ability to adapt to rapidly changing technical or service environment.
