About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Manager to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll be responsible for leading and evolving our WHS and wellbeing strategy across the Myhealth network.
This pivotal role is ideal for someone who is passionate about embedding safety into organisational culture and enhancing systems that improve both compliance and care. You’ll drive WHS initiatives, lead investigations and reporting, manage injury cases, and collaborate across the business to ensure regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion WHS compliance across NSW, VIC, and QLD, maintaining and updating legal obligations registers.
- Lead incident investigations and manage injury cases, including return-to-work coordination.
- Analyse WHS data and prepare high-level reports for the Executive Team and Board.
- Oversee and continuously improve our online incident reporting system and vendor relationships.
- Design and implement engaging, compliance-aligned training programs and inductions.
- Conduct audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed.
- Develop and deliver the company-wide HSW strategy in line with business objectives and best practice.
- Partner with business units to identify risks and implement initiatives that build safety awareness and culture.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field (essential)
- Deep knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Demonstrated experience in developing WHS systems, policies, and learning content
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights and trends from safety data
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels
- Experience with EAP and WHS-related vendor management
- Human-centred approach to system and training design
Nice to Have (Desirable but Not Required)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Mental Health First Aid or Injury Management qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare sector or a similarly regulated industry
