MSS Security is looking for reliable and customer-focused security officers to join our team in the Townsville area. In this role, you'll help maintain a strong security presence while providing great service to both clients and colleagues. We work with multiple clients, so flexibility is key you'll need to be available across a rotating 24/7 roster.

We have multiple roles across mining sites and corporate facilities where your duties would include but not limited to:

• Manage site access and credentials - Check identification, issue access cards using the Gallagher system, and oversee key handovers for secure areas.
• Monitor and operate security systems - Work from the control room to monitor CCTV, alarms, and other systems to maintain site security.
• Perform physical security tasks - Carry out static guarding, mobile patrols, lock/unlock buildings, and provide crowd control when required.
• Support operations and events - Assist with local council enforcement, support events, and adapt to additional security needs as directed.
• Provide professional customer service - Handle inquiries, requests, and concerns from customers, stakeholders, and visitors in a courteous and timely manner.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment - Proactively identify and respond to risks, maintaining a safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public.

Essential Criteria:

• A current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, and Crowd Control)
• Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
• A valid Open QLD Driver's Licence
• Confident using Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
