About the Role

MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to work at our prestigious client site in Weipa. The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing access control, issue ID cards and exceptional customer service.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Conduct mobile/foot patrols including lockup and unlock activities of infrastructure and gates

Conduct visitor/permit holder inductions and generate and issue access card's

Manage and perform bag and vehicle searches to identify prohibited, restricted unauthorised items

Monitor CCTV visual displays to manage and identify unauthorized access

Security support activities at client supplied camp accommodation

Skills & Experience

Current QLD Security licence with Unarmed, Crowd Control

Current First Aid and CPR certificate

Certificate II in Security Operations

Full QLD drivers' licence

Intermediate computer skills

Willing to undergo Medical tests (including Drug and Alcohol)

The successful candidate must have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster
