This position has become available as a result of an internal transfer.

Working in a small friendly team you will report to the National Transport Manager.

You will work closely with our Customers, Senior Management, other Contract Managers, Operations Personnel, Drivers and Maintenance Personnel.

Based in Maryland, NSW, your primary role will be to schedule and allocate the delivery task.

The successful applicant will have:

• Proven experience in the transport industry, ideally in an operational role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders
• Knowledge of the Newcastle metro, Hunter and NSW North Coast regions.
• A current car driver's licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in an environment where compliance with regulatory, statutory requirements and company policy is the utmost priority.

While experience in the bulk fuel transport industry will be highly regarded it is not essential.

The work involves attending to some after-hours phone inquiries from the driver group and customers and work on public holidays.

This is a permanent position, and a competitive package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
