Factory Worker/Process Controller

Process Controller Role:

As a Process Controller your role is central to the seamless functioning of our tile production. Your duties involve not just overseeing but actively engaging with diverse production machinery, including forklift operation, to ensure peak output and quality. In this position, you will collaborate extensively with supervisors, maintenance staff, and fellow process controllers to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold the highest quality standards. Essential to your role is a robust commitment to safety, a capacity for physically demanding tasks at times, problem solving and a proactive mindset. Opportunity:

Expanding its team of Process Controllers to enhance production output and quality, in line with our factory expansion plans. We are seeking candidates for immediate start through a trial period, initially offering a Monday-to-Friday work schedule to highlight their capabilities. This initial phase is an opportunity to engage in various manufacturing tasks, demonstrating adaptability and skill in a dynamic and physically demanding manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will then transition to a 12 hour day, 4-on-4-off (Day/night) shift roster, with the prospect of full-time employment during our bi-annual intakes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A proactive, can-do attitude, capable of working autonomously.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on quality and safety.
• Physically capable of handling demanding tasks.
• Forklift license holders and those with trade skills will be highly considered.
• Reliable personal transport

Physical Requirements:

• Regular lifting of items up to 20kgs, activities ranging from ground to chest height.
• Stamina to stand for extended periods in a warm factory environment.
• Expected to conduct and pass a medical and drug test.

Working Schedule:

• During a paid 2 week trial period we offer a Monday-Friday role 7am-4pm
• Post-trial, there are opportunities for casual process controller positions which follow our 4-on-4-off rotating roster (4 days on - 4 days off - 4 nights on - 4 days off). Shifts operate from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am (12hrs).
