Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Business Development: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities, especially within Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction companies and large-scale building projects.
Relationship Building: Build strong rapport with site managers, project organizers, and decision-makers to promote Kings Cut Concrete’s services.
Win EBA Projects: Strategically target and secure EBA works, understanding their unique procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Sales Follow-Up: Track leads, follow up consistently, and manage long-term sales pipelines to convert inquiries into confirmed projects.
Client Representation: Represent the company confidently on job sites and in meetings; must be comfortable confronting and negotiating with experienced site managers and contractors.
Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of activity, opportunities, and project wins. Provide regular updates to management on progress and market insights.
Industry Engagement: Stay up to date with current and upcoming construction projects, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
Proven sales experience in the construction industry (concrete cutting, drilling, or related trades preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to get on-site and meet face-to-face with clients, even in high-pressure environments.
Thick-skinned, confident, and not afraid to ask the tough questions or chase the big opportunities.
Ability to understand and communicate technical aspects of concrete cutting and core drilling services.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
Knowledge of EBA project structures and large-scale commercial construction processes is highly desirable.
