About the Role

This role will include general manufacture from raw materials into finished goods for retail and commercial sale.

This role will be ideal for those seeking to build or develop their skills in production of chemical adhesives and surface coatings, and general warehouse operation. The role will begin as a production assistant and with further on-site training, may develop into a complete role as Production Manager.

This role reports directly to the current Production Manager.

Key Position Responsibilities

Following computer aided system process to manufacture products

Package and label finished product for retail sale

Maintain finished stock levels and follow Quality Assurance procedures

Operate manual and electric handling equipment in a safe operation

Follow all Health and Safety guidelines

Key Position Requirements

This role is crucial to our operation in producing safer, easier to use epoxy and polyurethane products for our customers. As such it will be key that the ideal applicant should show:

Demonstrable mechanical and computer aptitude

Self-motivation and self-starter

Ability and desire to learn in a new facility

Mathematics, critical thinking and general reasoning skills

Care and attention to detail

Good communication skills

Desirable Position Requirements

Forklift license

Previous experience in a similar role will be looked upon very favourably

Though not required, current certification or qualification in chemical engineering

For any applicants that hold a current certification or qualification in chemical engineering, there may be an opportunity for a further role as industrial chemist.
