About the role

At Club Burleigh, we are seeking a passionate and experienced casual chef to join our talented culinary team. As a chef at our establishment in Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued members and guests.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking high-quality menu items using fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Collaborating with the head chef to develop and refine our menu offerings
• Ensuring efficient and timely meal preparation and delivery
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
• Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A team-oriented approach and the ability to work well under pressure
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
