A busy public health provider is seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Dental Assistant to join their team at the Oral Health Centre in Herston. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure across a range of specialist dental clinics in a modern, well-resourced facility, while contributing to high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

You will provide chairside support across multiple specialist services, ensuring smooth clinical operations and maintaining a high standard of patient care in line with Queensland Health protocols. This role offers a fast-paced and varied environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of oral health professionals.

Key Details:

Casual position with flexible weekday shifts

Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Oral Health Centre, Herston

Start date: ASAP

Rotational support across orthodontics, oral surgery, and other specialist units

What We're Looking For:

Certificate III in Dental Assisting (mandatory)

Certificate IV in Dental Radiography and/or Orthodontic Assisting (highly regarded)

Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical dental setting

Proven ability to work effectively in a busy, team-based environment

Excellent communication, organisation, and infection control skills

Desirable Attributes:

Previous experience in public health or hospital-based clinics

Flexibility to work across multiple specialties

A proactive, professional, and patient-focused approach
