Role Overview

Reporting into the General Manager, this Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for strategically growing client relationships by cross-selling and upselling the business's range of service offerings. On a monthly basis, you'll lead revenue reporting and contribute to national growth planning. Weekly, you'll collaborate with operations to identify client expansion opportunities and tailor service solutions. Daily, you'll engage directly with clients, uncover needs, and drive new business conversations.

This role plays a critical part in accelerating growth across a fast-moving Facilities Management business. You'll be the bridge between service capability and client demand. Deepening relationships, unlocking new revenue streams, and influencing commercial outcomes. It's a high-impact opportunity to shape strategy and make your mark in a business primed for scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain strong relationships with clients and key external stakeholders
  • Act as the key point of contact for your client portfolio, ensuring they feel supported, heard, and valued
  • Engage regularly with Facilities Managers, Senior Facilities Managers, and Regional Managers to align service delivery with client expectations
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention by understanding client needs, preferences, and pain points
  • Deliver personalised, solutions-focused service that addresses client challenges and adds value
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and internal teams to identify and resolve service quality issues
  • Gather on-the-ground client feedback to inform continuous service improvement
  • Analyse client insights and industry trends to proactively recommend service enhancements
  • Collaborate across departments to implement improvements that strengthen client relationships and operational delivery
  • Support the long-term growth of the business through strategic relationship management and client-focused innovation

Candidate Profile

You have a solid understanding of facilities management and trade services, with over 3 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, and relationship management. Personable and confident, you have a proven track record of building trusted client relationships, delivering service excellence, and driving client retention and revenue growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling.

You thrive in fast-paced, energetic, and collaborative team environments, and bring a genuine passion for client service. Resilient and self-motivated, you take initiative, adapt quickly to challenges, and remain focused on achieving outcomes that contribute to long-term client satisfaction and business success.
