About the Role:

• Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children.
• Ensure that our children are educated and cared for to the highest standard.
• Ensure every child is able to engage with educators in meaningful, open interactions that support the acquisition of skills for life and learning.
• Interact with each child in a warm and responsive way and build trusting relationships.
• Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment for the children at the centre.
• Provide ongoing input for all documentation associated with Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) requirements.
• Ensure delivery and maintenance of routines and programs specific to the room including small groups.
• Document the children’s learning.
• Create and set up interesting learning environments for the children.
• Work as a team and ensure that you support and respect other team members about developmental outcomes.

You will possess:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA approved equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check
• Proficiency in EYLF and National Quality Standards
• Australian Working Rights
• Great personal presentation
• Confidence and curiosity to build relationships with our families and the local community
• A desire to contribute to an awesome team
