Empower families to be part of the solution. Support young people to thrive.
At Each, we believe strong family support is a crucial part of helping young people lead healthy, connected lives. We’re looking for a Family Clinician to join our headspace teams at Knox and Lilydale and provide specialist counselling and support for families, parents, and carers of young people aged 12–25.

Your role. Your impact.
As a Family Clinician, you’ll be the bridge between young people and the families who care for them. You’ll provide counselling, brief interventions and therapeutic support that empowers families to better understand and respond to mental health challenges – all while working closely with a passionate, multidisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Clinical Lead, you’ll:

  • Deliver individual and single-session support to family members and carers
  • Assist with assessment, case formulation, treatment planning, and safety planning
  • Contribute to collaborative care alongside psychologists, GPs, AOD workers, and engagement teams
  • Support the development and facilitation of group programs for families
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records and contribute to a strong team culture

Who we’re looking for
You’re a caring and collaborative mental health or community professional with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mental health, AOD, social sciences, psychology, social work, youth work, occupational therapy, and family therapy or a related field
  • Experience in counselling, intake, and assessments with families and young people
  • Knowledge of brief interventions and family-focused therapeutic practices
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working within a team-based, client-focused model

What will make you stand out?

  • Qualifications or experience in Family Therapy
  • Background in youth mental health or community-based family support
  • Familiarity with brief intervention models such as Single Session Therapy

What’s in it for you
At Each, we’ll support you to be your best with:
Flexibility that works for you – Hybrid work options & family-friendly scheduling
Supportive, values-driven culture – Work with like-minded, passionate professionals
Ongoing development – Clinical supervision, learning pathways & multidisciplinary exposure
Salary packaging – Maximise your income with tax-free benefits up to $18,550
Make a tangible impact – Help families navigate tough times and strengthen recovery
