About the role

View Melbourne' is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team in our bustling restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne. This part-time role will see you working alongside our Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our exacting standards

Assisting the Executive Chef in menu development and implementation

Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

Ensuring strict adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Providing guidance and support to junior kitchen staff

Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment

Formal culinary training and/or a relevant qualification in hospitality or catering

Strong working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen

Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
