We’re currently partnering with a well-established and stable mid-sized financial services firm in the Sydney CBD to recruit a permanent Accounts Payable Officer.

The Role You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate coding, timely processing, and reconciliations—particularly across the company’s 90+ corporate credit cards. While the volume is relatively low, the work requires strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
There is also an opportunity to broaden your skill set, with exposure to payroll tasks for someone looking to upskill over time.
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment runs
• Corporate credit card reconciliations (approx. 90 cards across the business)
• Managing queries and liaising with internal stakeholders and cardholders
• Month-end accruals and AP reporting
• Supporting payroll processes as needed (training provided)
• Maintaining accurate records and following up on discrepancies
• Working with Concur to manage expense and invoice workflows

You’ll Bring

• Experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, industry experience is not required
• Confidence using Concur (or similar workflow/expense systems)
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills for internal stakeholder management
