About the role:
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will oversee a medium sized team of Accounts Receivable staff. Your role duties will include:
- Effectively lead, manage and oversee a team of 10 staff in AR
- Oversee various ledgers and portfolios
- Management of the day to day operations of allocating, receipting and reconciling accounts
- Optimising existing finance teams, systems and processes to achieve strategic goals
- Being a key driver and initiator of system and process improvements
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders
- Developing and generating routine reports to help senior management and key business stakeholders monitor progress
- Reporting and analytical duties
The ideal candidate:
The successful applicant with either have proven experience in a similar AR Team Leader role, or will be an up and comer who has overseen a smaller sized team and looking to take the next step in their career. Additionally, you will have the follow attributes:
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to improve staff morale
- Confidence and ability to take the lead
- Positive attitude and forward thinking mindset
- Dynamic and flexible personality, with an ability to adapt and work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Experience in the health or ndis industry is highly advantageous
